About Jessica

Born and raised in Greater Richmond, Jessica is a 2015 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Violent Crime Scene Investigation. Jessica worked as a paralegal prior to earning a Juris Doctor degree from the College of William and Mary, Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 2019.

While attending law school, Jessica began sharpening her litigation skills as an intern with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Offices of both Williamsburg-James City County and Dinwiddie County. Always an advocate for constitutional rights, Jessica further aided the pursuit of justice in her work on cases brought before the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project.

Since beginning her legal career, Jessica has defended hundreds of criminal and traffic cases while in private practice. In addition, Jessica has passionately served as a guardian ad litem of children in cases involving custody, visitation, and family abuse protective orders.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys adventures with her family and is an avid yogi and lover of books.
